Why the Bridal Bouquet???
Wedding bouquets were originally made of such strong herbs as thyme and garlic, which were meant to frighten away evil spirits.
Today flowers in weddings are normally a sweet scented bouquet that add that something special to the bridal party’s overall look, plus they are a great photographic prop, and Thank Goodness brides no longer smell like herbs and garlic but use choose flowers either because that are their favourites, have special meaning or are in their wedding colours.
