Images from a photo shoot that i did for "Your Local Wedding Guide".
What beautiful models & I'm very happy with how the hair looks!

The photos don't show how big of a day we had - 2 models - 14 outfits - 14 different hair styles!! in 6 or so hours.

Fitzy's Bridal Expo

On Sunday I was the official hair stylist for the Fitzy's Bridal Expo - Loganholme.

This was a smaller expo with only 5 models for me to do hair for, but their were lots of future brides.

The models were gorgeous, they're hair looked lovely - the models commented on it and even the girls from 'Brides by the bay' commented on how great the hair was compared to other expos they had been too off late.

My good mate Mandi from Beautiful Brides by Mandi helped me by doing the make up - she did a great job! check out her blog ... http://www.mandisbrides.blogspot/

How can I ever begin to Thank You and Allyson for the amazing job you did for my wedding. After working in the wedding industry for almost 10 years, I have photographed so many brides myself so to be one was a very exciting experience. After meeting you at a wedding a number of years ago and not only seeing the amazing work that you do but realizing that you are such lovely people as well, I knew that if I was ever going to need hair and make-up services that you were the people I couldn’t live without!! The work you do is absolutely incredible, just simply amazing. You not only manage to make people look so glamorous, you make the whole experience so much fun! I loved how I could show you some pictures of hairstyles I liked and you talked with me about the look I was after and then you worked your magic. In such a short period of time you were able to transform me into the most glamorous woman in the world (if anyone sees the before and after photos of me they will totally agree!!) Everyone commented on the day how amazing I looked and my new husbands tears as he saw me for the first time gave me the most amazing feeling in the world. I know that my sister, best friend, mother and mother-in-law all looked stunning as well! Thank you really isn’t enough as I am eternally grateful for everything you did. You are recommended to all of the brides that enquire for our photography and they can certainly see the photos that prove you are the best hair and make-up providers in this wedding industry!

Special Kids Formal Hair

At the end of the 2008 school year, my sister Erica & I were honoured to do the "formal" hair for a class of senior girls from our local Special School. What fun we all had...these girls loved being pampered & were a delight to work with!!

It was one of those rare days that was truely special for us - being able to see the transformation in these girls into princesses !!

Also a BIG THANK YOU to Ian from CREATIVE PHOTOGRAPHICS for offering his time & professional talents by photographing both the girls & the boys from the Special School for their formal!! Love your work IAN!!!!

Business Acheivers WINNER

What a thrill it was to win the Business Achievers Awards for the South West News 2008.

Businesses were judged via a 3 stage judging process. Throughout these stages, each business is ranked via a point allocation system.

Businesses were firstly nominated by their customers and Quest readers via nomination coupons printed in each of the participating Quest titles. The six nominated businesses who receive the highest number of points in each category automatically became finalists and move on to stage two.

The second stage was where finalists are required to complete a questionnaire, which is judged by Quests judging partner. The points gained in this stage are added to those from stage one and the three businesses with the highest cumulative score then proceed to stage three.

In the final stage businesses are subject to a 'mystery shop'. The results of the Mystery Shop are converted to points and added to those gained in stages one and two to determine the overall category winner – aka - Kelly Weaver’s bridal hair.

I would like to Thank all my past brides, their hubhy’s, bridesmaids and all who voted for me!! I really appreciate the part you took in me winning this award….a BIG Thank you again and fingers crossed for 09!!
